In County Meath, two men and a teenager have been arrested in connection with an investigation into a crime gang suspected of carrying out burglaries nationwide. The arrests occurred on Friday night in Enfield, where a high-powered car was intercepted. During the stop, a significant amount of cash and burglary tools were confiscated.
The arrested individuals include two men, one in his 30s and the other in his 20s, along with a male teenager. They are currently being held at Garda stations in the eastern region.
This operation is part of Operation Thor, a national strategy aimed at dismantling organised crime groups involved in burglaries and related criminal activities. The investigation remains ongoing.
