Conor Coventry Joins Ireland Squad for Wembley Clash with England

Uncapped midfielder Conor Coventry has been added to the Ireland squad for Sunday’s Nations League match against England, replacing the injured Jason Knight.

Knight, who plays for Bristol City, is unavailable after receiving another yellow card during Ireland’s recent home victory against Finland.

Meanwhile, Sunderland’s Alan Browne has once again been left out of the squad. Ireland manager Heimir Hallgrimsson has instead opted for Charlton Athletic’s Coventry, who will make the short journey across London to join the team.
