HSA launches probe after boy dies in Donegal incident

Authorities have begun a formal investigation following the death of a young boy in an accident involving machinery at a premises in Co Donegal.

The fatal incident occurred on Thursday evening in An Clochán Liath (Dungloe). Emergency services were called to the scene, but despite their efforts, the boy was pronounced dead shortly after the accident.

His body was later removed to Letterkenny University Hospital, where a post-mortem examination is scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
