The Coronas Shine at Dublin Charity Busk

The Coronas were among the musicians who participated in a charity busking event in Dublin city centre. This annual Christmas Eve event, which started in 2010, is held to support the Dublin Simon Community, a charity that helps people overcome homelessness.

The busking took place outside the Gaiety Theatre near Grafton Street and was streamed online for viewers. Oscar-winner Glen Hansard led the event, featuring performances from Shobsy, Brian Brannigan, trad duo Lorkin O’Reilly and Jonny Pickett, and uilleann piper Seamus Ong.

Hansard introduced The Coronas, praising them as legends and long-time supporters of the event. The band performed a cover of the Cranberries’ Linger, followed by their own song Heroes or Ghosts, and finished with a cover of Aslan’s Crazy World.
